Vagan Gear Max was the massive ultimate mobile weapon.
Technology and Combat Characteristics[]
The Vagan Gear is the oldest of the Gunpla built with Colony Nation Wars-era technology. Its design would influence the development of later Shinobi. At a towering height, the mobile armor dwarfs even the most largest of all Mobile Suits.
Armaments[]
- Delta Gazer
Mounted on the tail, the Vagan Gear's "Delta Gazer" is comparable to the Beam Cannons on the newer custom Hylian Suits.
- Heat Blade
Solid melee weapons as opposed to the usual beam sabers. The heat blades are highly powerful, being able to slice the entire mountain.
- Wire-guided 5-barrel Mega Particle Gun
The forearms of the gigantic mobile armor can be detached from the main body and remotely maneuvered with micro thrusters at built into their base. The forearms are guided by thick wires that communicate the Newtype pilot's thoughts via the psycommu system.

The head of the Max was its cockpit, the head can detach from the main body and be used as an escape pod.

Paul Gekko pilots the deadly Mobile Armor to help Princess Yuki Uzuki on gathering grain to make bread. Jakiten was assigned to test drive the Massive Mobile Armor to test its performance capabilities by intervening in the conflict in Krugis. Once there, Jakiten proceeded to eliminate all warring sides until everything was destroyed. He spared no one but one boy, Kuromaki, as he saw the young child reflect him with such awe and worship. He would later comment on it as a "momentary impulse... but also a sort of mercy."
