Ren Midori (みどりれん, Midori Ren), more commonly known as Eight Tails (八尾, Hachibi) or Lucy Fullbuster (ルーシーフルバスター, Rūshīfurubasutā), was one of the Strongest Ten Tailed Beasts. Ren Midori was the Yamata no Orochi, whose body and chakra was split into eight separate Eight Headed Snakes/Biometals that were sealed within Takeshi Gekko, Kandy (Before Paul Gekko and after Girouette) Honey D. Okaina, Honey D. Paul, Yuki Imai, Misty Gekko, Kyoji Gekko, and Bastia.

  • Initially, the Appearance of the Tailed Beast resembles the Viper with massive size. It has eight dragon-based heads with it's long serpentine necks like tree trunks. It has a Gundanium Alloy Car-structure body with two wheels. It has red eyes and Eight of it's Tails were Bushier.
  • It's Larva form resembles a Dog (a Terrier before it matured).
  • In it's Final form, It is massive Viper with massive size with dragon-based heads with it's long serpentine necks like tree trunks. It has a Gundanium Alloy Car-structure body with four legs and eight tails.
  • When Susanoo uses the Ryuseken no Tsurugi, it was split into eight Entities, both of which were considerably smaller than its original form, yet still comparable in size to the other massive tailed beasts, standing slightly taller than Charuubi. The Eight Entities was in the Shape of a Biometal called Model O. Orochi's Biometal form takes on a blocky triangular shape with a green color scheme and a large red crystal. In Megamerged form, the user dons armor with gold highlights included and a white trim on the helmet as opposed to the familiar light blue. The jacket armor remains closed. Whenever it Double Megamerges with another Biometal, the armor will change to the corresponding color and the jacket will open up. In addition, the jewel on the helmet, regardless of which form, will shape into an arrow-like design that stretches to the top of the structure.
  • Paul Gekko's Premature Tailed Beast Mode is a an enormous Dragon with a patterned body and a narrow head. Possibly its most defining feature is that it possesses two huge spines that jut straight from its chin and forehead, curving inwards towards each other, so much so that they almost touch in front of Orochi's mouth. Over its scaled body, Orochi's scales have a dark and swirling pattern, which somewhat resembles the pattern found on butterfly wings. Trailing right down Scissor Runner's spine from head to tail is a raised section of scales, which are also found on Scissor Runner's legs.
  • When Paul Gekko learned to use Wood Style, The new Megamerged form dons an advanced warship capable of interstellar space travel but specifically designed to be used in water. There movements are inspired by various sea creatures as opposed to the human warships that glide and cut through the water. When in the water they use water as means of propulsion using multiple suction hoses dangling beneath its body to suck in water which is somehow used to power it through the water and they are sometimes seen to exhale water out of vents presumably as waste energy.
  • During Grand Magic Games, Orochi possesses the body of the Franky Tank Deliora. The mouth of the gun is shaped like a brachiosaurus and it can be raised and lowered. The main body of the tank is somewhat round shaped and it uses tank tread belts to move. It makes a dull, somewhat high pitched honking sound each time a round is fired.

Yamata no Orochi legends are originally recorded in two ancient texts about Japanese mythology and history. The ca. 680 CE Kojiki transcribes this dragon name as 八岐遠呂智 and ca. 720 CE Nihongi writes it as 八岐大蛇. In both versions of the Orochi myth, Susanoo or Susa-no-Ō is expelled from Heaven for tricking his sister Amaterasu the sun-goddess.

Also make a fence round about, in that fence make eight gates, at each gate tie [together] eight platforms, on each platform put a liquor-vat, and into each vat pour the eight-fold refined liquor, and wait.

After expulsion from Heaven, Susanoo encounters two "Earthly Deities" (國神) near the head of the Hi River (簸川) in Izumo Province. They are weeping because they were forced to give the Orochi one of their daughters every year for seven years, and now they must sacrifice their eighth, Kushi-inada-hime (櫛名田比売 "comb/wondrous rice-field princess", who Susanoo transforms into a kushi 櫛 "comb" for safekeeping). The Kojiki tells the following version.

Compare the Nihongi description of the Yamata no Orochi (tr. Aston 1896:1:52-53). "It had an eight-forked head and an eight-forked tail; its eyes were red, like the winter-cherry; and on its back firs and cypresses were growing. As it crawled it extended over a space of eight hills and eight valleys." These botanical names used to describe this Orochi are akahagachi or hoozuki ("winter cherry or Japanese lantern, Physalis alkekengi"), hikage ("club moss, Lycopodiopsida), hinoki ("Japanese cypress, Chamaecyparis obtusa), and sugi ("Japanese cedar, Cryptomeria").

This legendary sword Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, along with the Yata no Kagami mirror and Yasakani no Magatama jewel or orb, are the three sacred Imperial Regalia of Japan.

Young Bijuu

Fortress Gundam was one of the Tailed Beasts created by the Sage of the Eight Paths as an Egg and then hatched into an adult Eight Headed Dragon. Some time after being created, the Sage sat down with all the young tailed beasts and told them that they would always be together even when separated, and that one day they would become friends again with different names as well as forms than they did then when the time came for them to understand what true power is. Upon reaching the lighthouse at Reverse Mountain, at the entrance of the Grand Line, he recruited Fortress Gundam as his doctor that would be responsible for keeping him alive until the completion of his journey. Susanoo Uzumaki descended from Heaven for tricking his sister Amaterasu. The Yamata no Orochi made contact with Yasakani and they made a deal. Yasakani no Mikoto would have Laura delivered to Orochi. Kusanagi Gekko comes to the rescue to stop Orochi and was determined to save Yasakani from the Corruption. The Yamata no Orochi's reputation and threat became so great and impressive that Jack's father, The Emperor decided to rid the land of the eight headed once and for all using magical-rainbow-like oil made by Buddhist monks, however, when he fired an arrow coated with this oil into the dog it didn't destroy it but rather gave it form and sentience, thus evolving into it's Eight Headed Dragon Vehicle-like appearance threat of just unimaginable power. After he was informed of extendable reputation and identification as the indescribable guardian of the mountains and slayer of humans as the Great Eight Headed Behemoth in times of Yahweh, the Emperor engaged the Yamata no Orochi in battle, but was easily overpowered chained to a large stone despite Yamata no Orochi's lack to speak in human toungue. Rendered helpless and unable to fight back, the samurai lord watched and cried out in horror as the Yamata no Orochi slithered and hid inside his home.

End of Creation Arc[]

When Raikō was sixteen, He spoke to Orochi about the Incident of the Shimizu Clan. Thr Orochi manages to Comfort him and was soon became an Ally. Raimei goes forward to meet Raikō for a rematch. In the field of Spider Lillies, Raikou gives Kurogamon back, but quickly disarms Raimei anyway. Upset, Raimei lands a punch on Raikō, yelling at him for thinking her to be so weak and taking on the burden alone. Crying, she asks him to come home. But Raikō loves and apologizes to her about the Black Demon incident, and makes her take up her sword once more. Seeing characteristics of their mother in her, Fortress Gundam was summoned to smack Raimei in the Face with it's Tail only to find Gau, who in an attempt to intervene, takes Raikō's blow, the one meant for Raimei, saying "I came to accept my punishment." Gau then falls over bleeding, and instead of being angry, he begs for the two to stop fighting, and apologizes for breaking his promise not to tell Raimei as he slips under into comatose.

At some point, the Orochi fell into possession of Kumogakure, Blue B's rampage was stated to be orchestrated by Orochimaru, who gave Blue B genjutsu-inducing pills to draw out Gyūki and Orochi. Due to the pills, Gyūki had no recollection of the rampage. Prior to Orochi's attack on Izumogakure, Paul Gekko's Father was so young and Kind and Clumsy met the Queen Peach and Nakagami attacked him and chased him back into his catering company. He had made his first Peach Pie for Queen Peach since Paul Gekko's Father was taken good care of her and treats her like a child. Nakagami no Mikoto and chased him but until the Festival already started. The Chase was cut short when the Sleeping Yamata no Orochi wakes at the sight of a Festival. Opening his great eyes, Orochi chases after Nakagami and Paul Gekko's Father into a catering company. Orochi was known to devour one of the Giant Bears making the Orochi, Queen of the River. The other Giant Bears welcomed Orochi to join the Family. During a festival in the nearby village Izumo, the Serpent was aroused and went on a rampage. The exact cause of the Orochi's awakening is unclear; although the residents of Izumo believe their festival awoke him. Orochi quickly made its way to the village and consumed all the food the villagers prepared for the festival including, Pizza, Cheeseburgers, Dumplings and Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches. In order to satiate the Orochi's hunger the villagers decide to sacrifice one of their maidens to the Serpent. A lottery is held to determine who the sacrifice will be. Susanoo met Kushinada Haruno and the Foot-Stroking-Elder and Hand-Stroking-Elder told Susanoo the about their seven Daughters were eaten by the Eight Headed Serpent each year, who lived in the Lake near the Village at Mount Sentsu and then ravaged the Village in Izumo demanding maidens as sacrifices. Susanoo turned Kushinada into a kushi 櫛 "comb" for safekeeping. The Elders bultied walls, at each gate tie [together] eight platforms, on each platform put a liquor-vat, and into each vat pour the eight-fold refined liquor, and wait. As the Liquor was brewed, Orochi hid a vast enormous treasure in it's Castle. So as they waited after having thus prepared everything in accordance with his bidding, the eight-forked serpent came truly as [the old man] had said, and immediately dipped a head into each vat, and drank the liquor. Thereupon it was intoxicated with drinking, and all [the heads] lay down and slept. Then Susanoo Uzumaki drew the Ryuseken Blade that was augustly girded on him, splitting the Serpent into Eight and sealed the First Serpent within Honey D. Okaina and found the Ame no Murakumo inside the Serpent's Flesh and thus making Girouette the Jinjuriki of the monster and the Biometal User. After Susanoo and Kushinada wed, The Shinobi constructed the house for them and living the lives with the couples children.

After Childbirth, Okaina chose the  two successors of the Izumo's new Susanoo, Kyoji Gekko and Paul Gekko. The Second Eight Headed Serpent was sealed within Kyoji. Paul Gekko was chosen by the Third Eight Headed Serpent in Biometal Form. Girouette dies after giving Paul Gekko the Tailed Beast in Biometal Form as a present.

The Savior summons Paul Gekko with the Full Eight Headed Dragon form to defeat the Godom Emperor's Giant Dragon and finally the Downfall of the Godom Empire was fulfilled.

Shippuden Arc[]

Orochi continues to feel that it's Jinjuriki is opening the seal thus, granting him any ability. Orochi's loyal servants, Hakkesshu continue to work to break its seal until Paul Gekko is in the Tailed Beast State and Seed Mode. Meanwhile, a mysterious young man called Ash Crimson and Ash's Counterpart is taking all the three sacred treasures (the Yata Mirror, the Yasakani Jewel, and the Kusanagi Sword) one by one. With the seal broken, Orochi is free to enter the mortal realm once again, and Orochi cannot be contained with the treasures missing. With Ash Crimson fading to oblivion, and Paul Gekko recieving the Kusanagi, Yagami and Yasakani Jewel, Paul Gekko can use the Orochi in Seed Mode, if the need arises.

Zeref Arc[]

Paul Gekko's Pokemon Zygarde collecting the keys to Zeref's seal that was inside Eight Treasure Chests in Yggdrasil Island. Zeref is then shocked to see Paul Gekko, saying that he has "grown". Shocked by the Dark Mage's words, Paul Gekko entered Tailed Beast Form to supress Zeref. Paul Gekko manages to bring Zeref to Umigakure to be treated well by Lan.

Ka Boa Bu Arc[]

Paul Gekko Paul fought and finally weakened Fuu, Naruto Uzumaki and Killer B. Sine Paul finally defeated the Three Jinjuriki, Cloud and Paul met at Side 3 and Hotaru befriended the Rivals and their preacious ones. Unfortunately Cloud have taken the Three Knocked out Jinjuriki to the Ka Boa Bu the Space Fortress that makes Paul anxious about rescuing them in Mecha King Ghidorah but was blocked by Tifa and her Shadowy Mobile Armor. Yami, Kuro Akatsuki's General then tries to take advantage of Sasuke's hatred to help him defeat Mecha King Ghidorah. Sasuke, however, having learned the truth about Itachi, sided with his brother over Kuro Akatsuki and Paul summons Izanagi to weaken the General Yami and Itachi then admits to Konoha's dark side, but still firmly considers himself a Konoha ninja, greatly shocking Sasuke. Admitting to his own faults for how Sasuke turned out, Itachi promises to tell him something important after the battle, which he intends to finish with "Izanami". Itachi explained the mechanism behind Izanami and when he used it. Seemingly angered when Itachi told him why he used a technique that could be cancelled by the victim, Sasuke listens as Itachi explained his reasons for doing so, before Itachi tells him that he would be stopping the Impure World Reincarnation. Resigned to the fact that he could not change his brother's mind, Sasuke told Itachi that it was because he remembered his time with Itachi that he would not give up his vendetta against Konoha and in the same manner that Itachi strived to protect it, he would destroy it. With that, he wished his brother farewell before he noticed Itachi walking towards him with his hand outstretched. Itachi then explains to Sasuke that what Danzō and Tobi had told him had been the truth: he had been given the choice to either die along with his clan or to kill the Uchiha, protecting the village and Sasuke. Itachi reaches Sasuke and puts his hand on the back of Sasuke's head and his forehead on his, telling him that he knows that he can't change Sasuke's mind, but no matter what path he chose, he would love Sasuke forever. Sasuke then watches as his brother's soul is released from the Impure World Reincarnation, leaving him with Paul and Yami. Paul's Vision that Sasuke used to locate Cloud. Unfortunately Paul's Vision was true. Sasuke saw The Nine Tails extracted from Naruto along with the Two Tailed Beasts extreacted from Jinjuriki by Cloud's Fully designed Gedo Statue like Mobile Armor. Regareded to this ability Paul Gekko and Kyoji uses their Tailed Beast State, Yuki Imai uses the Version 2 State, Takeshi uses the Initial State and Honey D. Paul and Okaina uses their Tailed Beast State too for the Final Battle in Ka Boa Bu to face Ten-Tails (Shinju) and Cloud. With the all of the efforts of Team Kyoji, Team Takashi and Team Okaina and the Hylians and Orochi, They manage to separate the Nine of the Tailed Beasts from the Apsalus Dragon and halted the Infinite Tsukuyomi Genjutsu.

Mega Man ZX Shippuden/The Many Adventures of Paul Gekko[]

Creation and Pescan Era[]

Over 15,000,000,000 years ago, after the Aurum and the other aliens created civilizations, Ren Midori was one of the Tailed Beasts born into a world filled with magic and technology. The eight tailed creature secretly fitted into the tribe of dragons. To Midori, dragons and humans are viewed as rulers of the kingdom led by Queen Pesca VIII. Queen Pesca VIII formed a powerful bond with Midori after it supported in the Mushroom Kingdom's creation. An unknown Dragon has been amazed by the bondage between a tailed beast and a human, wanting the Dragons and the humans to do the same. During this time, the Sage Dragon Belserion of the Ishgarian country Dragnof was conducting reconnaissance on these Dragons and reported his findings to the queen of his country, the human Irene, revealing that the Dragons of Alakitasia planned on invading Ishgar to continue their conquest of the humans. A war brewed between the Dragons who supported Dragon-human coexistence, and those who were against the ideology. Zirconis was among the Dragons who were against coexisting with the humans, while Belserion was among those who stood for the opposite.

Alakitasian Dragons invaded; Ishgar was at a disadvantage due to the sheer number of foes they were facing, and coupled with a small number of betrayals from sympathizers of the anti-human movement, Ishgar faced defeat, even with Irene trying to instill hope into her countrymen by displaying her ability to enhance things with Enchantments. It was also during this time in the war that Belserion informed Irene of their inevitable loss, and Irene, seeking to help and fight alongside her longtime friend, came up with the idea of Dragons enchanting human beings with their Magic, thus creating the concept of Dragon Slayers and Dragon Slayer Magic. Queen Pesca VIII summoned Ren Midori to pacify the dragons and humans that brought war to the Mushroom Kingdom.

However, all Dragon Slayers are planted with the Dragon Seed, which would begin their eventual, irreversible transformation into a Dragon. The group of Dragon Slayers that rampaged slayed any and all Dragons that crossed their paths, regardless of their allegiance. Amongst those Dragon Slayers was one known as Acnologia, who appeared almost out of the blue and purposely went out of his way to kill all Dragons he could find, including Belserion. He bathed in their blood, and due to the Dragon Seed inside him, he eventually became a pitch-black Dragon that took up the mantle of "Dragon King."

Union Civil War[]

In the Era of the United Federation of Kingdoms, Queen Pesca VIII sent Ren Midori on a journey to find a person with a power of the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Godzilla Earth. Ren Midori cannot find him due to his ability to camoflauge itself and ended up meeting the professor who secretly created the Black Beast using the DNA of crocodile. It fled back to the Mushroom Kingdom and reported the Mushroom Queen of the Black Beast attack as the United Federation and the G.U.N.

Great Grand Civil War[]

After Queen Pesca VIII's death, the Konoha Republic allowed Ren Midori the Eight Tailed Serpent to be sealed into a member of the Gekko Family to avoid any suspicion of the Galactic Terrorists. The jinchūriki of the eight tails learn to control their tailed beasts' power only to be captured by the Galactic Terrorists. At the same time, the jinchūriki of the eight tails was forced to rampage across the Wano Country and then attack the Mushroom Castle. However, the jinchūriki had Takamaru and the leaders of Wano evacuate while the others remained behind. Taiki Fūshin aka Kaido saw the oppurtunity to sieze control of Wano with Kurozumi Orochi helping Kogetsu Oden rebuilding the Flower Capital of factories and military bases. After breaching the eight walls, the Eight Tailed Serpent smelled and drank the liquor and became drunk. The armed warriors of Wano saw this and started to attack. Having anticipated the warriors' greed and arrogance, Ren Midori launched eight tailed beast bombs at the warriors, causing the forests to set ablaze with the fire surrounding the Mushroom Kingdom. Luckily, while the Mushroom Kingdom's best firefighters put out some fire with water and red powder, Susanoo Uzumaki split the beastly snake into eight Biometals and eight Celtic Dragons to prevent the destruction of the Kingdom and Kushinada Haruno become food for the monstrous tailed beast. While Susanoo Uzumaki secretly gives each of his retainers the eight Biometals, Takamaru sealed the eight celtic dragons into Paul Gekko and his siblings.

Fortress Gundam grows fat by feasting on women, pizza and malts. The center head along with the other heads can use any ability when it has infinite chakra.

Tailed Beast Abilities[]

  • Tailed Beast Ball: Orochi can shoot Beams from its eight mouths. In other variations, it has the ability to project highly destructive energy in different ways. It can fire an immense energy beam from its mouth which packs enough power to destroy the fleet of airships, airplanes and spaceships leaving only the flagship of each fleet remaining.
    • Eight Branched Tailed Beast Bomb (八分岐尾獣爆弾): Orochi can shoot eight Tailed Beast Balls from its eight mouths in a different direction.
  • Flight: Orochi has the ability to fly in the Sky.
  • Telepathy: Orochi can use the transmission of information from one person to another without using any of our known sensory channels or physical interaction.
  • Missile Shooting: Orochi can shoot energy bullets from it's eight necks which can decimates entire buildings and project clusters of energy balls.

  • Inferno Blast: It can breathe Fire from it's Mouths.
  • Fortress: Fortress Gundam can pick up a Gunpla in a box and tossed the contents into the air, pulled out his Clippers, and built the SD in a matter of seconds.

  • Blood Dragon Regeneration (血龍昇天, Ketsuryū Shōten): In the Valley of Hell, the blood form of Fortress Gundam can regenerate it's heads without concentration.

  • The Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi (四天王, Shiten Ou) - The four strongest warriors in the Hakkesshu among The Eight Heads. They control elements of nature, possess some of Orochi's original abilities, and can activate the Riot of the Blood in people who are susceptible to it. Orochi can probably incarnate in them, as he did with Chris. Their moves are all written using the Cyrillic alphabet.

  • Multi-headed animals are rare in biology but common in mythology and heraldry. Multi-headed dragons, like the 8-headed Orochi and 3-headed Trisiras above, are a common motif in comparative mythology. For instance, multi-headed dragons in Greek mythology include the wind-god Typhon who had several polycephalic offspring, including the 9-headed Lernaean Hydra and the 100-headed Ladon, both slain by Hercules.
  • Comparing folklore about polycephalic dragons and serpents, 8-headed creatures are less common than 7- or 9-headed ones. Among Japanese numerals, ya or hachi 八 can mean "many; varied" (e.g., yaoya 八百屋 [lit. "800 store"] "greengrocer; jack-of-all-trades").
