Dr. Award (ドクターアワード, Dokutāawādo), born as Award Yggdrasil (賞ユグドラシル, Shō Yugudorashiru), is a shadowy scientist who is highly interested in Dr. Eggman and his work. He served as a former apprentice to Dr. Paul Robotnik for the Galactic Empire of Eggman and the current apprentice to Lelouch Eggman. Like his sister, Serena Yggdrasil, He is the descendant of the great Kingdom of Yggdrasil. He is the incarnation of Sub-Zero the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei the assassin clan which rivals the Shirai Ryu. After the Freedom Civil War, Dr. Award was crowned "Emperor of Niflheim" by the people of the Kingdom of Yggdrasil.
Appearance[]
Dr. Award is a super scientific and bespectacled man of average height. His long dark gray hair is bunched up into a ponytail by a golden brace. The ponytail hangs past his right shoulder, reaching up to his chest. The rest of his hair is quite messy, with uneven bangs falling down the sides of his face and between his eyes. He has alert eyes with red irises. His attire is quite trim, befitting his strict personality. It comprises of a simple pair of dark dress pants and a white collared dress shirt, completely buttoned up with a red tie hanging from the neck. Over this, he wears a trench coat with a white border. The color of its interior as well as its exterior matches that of his tie.
Dark markings are diagonally branded from the left shoulder and sleeve and run down the front and the back of the coat. The coat has a high collar which is left unfolded. The cuffs are also quite large. As the coat cannot be closed down the front, he fastens it with a long belt, looping it twice around his waist and then holding it fast with a simple buckle. This leaves the part of the front of his shirt exposed, allowing the tie to be tucked neatly into the coat. The belt itself has a pattern of diamonds running across it. His outfit is completed by a pair of dark shoes with contrasting light soles.
Personality[]
Dr. Award appears to be a stern individual who values order and respect. Due to this militaristic nature, while he is careful not to overstep his own bounds, he clearly voices his displeasure in case the actions of any of his associates are deemed to be out of keeping with their position in Eggman's Empire, in the Egg Enforcers or the emperor himself.
As Emperor of Emperor of Niflheim, Dr. Award retains his militaristic nature and when possessed by Yūki Terumi, he carries the cruel, insane, sadistic, selfish nature. When he was free from Yūki Terumi's influence due to Paul Gekko's courage and her twin sister's kindness, it was revealed that Dr. Award was originally kind and gentle.

- Automatic Barrage: Dr. Award possesses his battle mech as his personal vehicle and he's capable of using it in battle. As Emperor of Nifelheim, customized his own battle mech to make it more powerful and destructive.
- Blitzkrieg: In battle, Dr. Award possesses the ability to open Genesis Portals that will allow Eggman's fleet of ships to concentrate fire on every target in multiple directions. Making it impossible for the opponent to escape.
- Call of Galactic Egg Marines: While Dr. Award has maintained his physical strength, he can summon a large number of Eggman's army of soldiers and robots from the Egg Fleet via Genesis Portals, leading to an all-out attack by the Supreme Commander or the Egg Boss.
- Frozen Decapitation: As the incarnation of Sub-Zero, Dr. Award's ability to freeze is strong enough to turn the body's water content, flesh, and bone into brittle ice with just a single tap of his fingers. His ice can reach temperatures up to -9,000° Fahrenheit which is way below absolute zero.
- Atlantic Ragnarok (大西洋ラグナロク): When all Seven Chaos Emeralds are recreated, Dr. Award's ability to bring out the "Perfectly Ultimate Great Flood" to flood all civilizations the same way as Chaos in its final form did in the Union Civil War.

Early Life[]
Born into an ancient royal family of Thor Ōtsutsuki, He is the prince of the great Yggdrasil Kingdom, Dr. Award has been praised by numerous civilians including his younger sister. 100,000 years ago, Dr. Award was accepted into a pristine academy, where he fell in love and made multiple friends who in his words "shared his vision for the country". After graduation, Dr. Award along with his friends formed a team, who defended the Yggdrasil Kingdom and its people for many years. However, everything changed when Dr. Award discovered the long-forgotten Lin Kuei. His team was sent to investigate but were slaughtered. Dr. Award was able to awaken his power to freeze any opponents which Lin Kuei discovered. Dr. Award was given the title of "Grandmaster" when the Kingdom of Yggdrasil discovered that the Lin Kuei used to be their ancient allies. Dr. Award was able to secure his sister's position as princess.
Great Grand Civil War[]
During the Great Grand Civil War, after the death of Thor Ōtsutsuki, Dr. Award was forced to submit to Satan Ōtsutsuki and his inner circle, due to fears for the Yggdrasil Kingdom's destruction. Satan Ōtsutsuki allowed Dr. Award and his people to be spared in exchange for eliminating Shirai Ryu, the long-forgotten rival clan of the Lin Kuei.
In the fight between the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu, before the rise of Eggman's Galactic Empire, Dr. Award's history extends to how he destroyed the Shirai Ryu, ending their rivalry: One night, Hanzo Hasashi is taking his son, Satoshi, back to the Shirai Ryu village. There, they are ambushed by the warriors of the Lin Kuei, who have already slaughtered the entire village. Hanzo is able to counter the ambush and hide in his dojo. Upon entering his room, Hanzo discovers the corpse of his wife Harumi, unleashing a state of berserk rage inside him as he starts to eliminate the remaining warriors of the Lin Kuei inside the dojo. Hanzo temporarily loses himself in his rage and awakes outside the dojo. When Hanzo turned around, Dr. Award was holding Satoshi hostage and threatening to kill him and said, "All I want was Satoshi Hasashi's final words! That's all!" Thinking that his son will be spared, Hanzo surrendered. Being forced to kill Hanzo and his child in guilt, Dr. Award incapacitates him and stabs Satoshi in the throat. He then fired an icicle through Hanzo's mouth, impaling him through the back of his neck. With Lin Kuei victorious, he watched as the entire Mobian Race gets permanently wiped out in the flash.
With the Shirai Ryu clan destroyed, As Sub-Zero, Dr. Award and the rest of the Lin Kuei warriors took part in the Konoha Republic's transition into Eggman's intergalactic empire. However, unknown to Dr. Award, Scorpion's soul was laid to waste in the Netherrealm but was mysteriously, and the necromancer Quan Chi resurrected him.
Eggman Imperial Era[]
After the Great Grand Civil War, Dr. Award was promoted to the rank of Grand General of Eggman's intergalactic Empire. He had accomplished many things like quelling rebellions, stopping terrorism, and putting all criminals behind bars, earning him the title, "Sub-Zero" and even massacring many assassins that dared to assassinate Emperor Eggman himself.
Freedom Civil War[]
In the Freedom Civil War, Dr. Award plays a major role in most major battles which included helping Fairy Tail and the Atlantic Pirates destroy the Eclipse Gate in the Gourmet Graves.

Great Freedom Era[]
After the Freedom Civil War, Dr. Award retains his position as Grand General. And continues to serve Eggman's Democratic Empire, under the leadership of Lelouch Ōtsutsuki. At some point, the people of Yggdrasil has given Award the title of "Emperor of Niflheim". Prince Award has recreated the Eggman Army within Eggman's underground base to prepare for war on Asgard and Dens which he calls Midgard.
Great Inkling Era[]
After the Great Flood, Dr. Award was involved in restoring Lelouch's Plan to restore civilization with the help of the Inklings and the Octarians.
